“Do Your Best,” these three words are simple but meaningful. Do you know why? Many parents want their children succeed by demanding a perfect result. Some of you may have heard this from your parents .. “You must get perfect mark” or “you must get into the top ten ranks”. This is the perfectionism attitude which only sees the results and will likely never satisfy, so easily get disappointed in the results obtained. And the impact, students will grow into the person who does not believe in themselves and always fear of making mistakes. But this is not entirely parents’ fault because the success of their children is the proud of them. So how about you, students? Will you make your parents proud of you? Once, You should know that parents’ disappointment is not because of “you’ve got a bad mark”, but it’s because you haven’t “Done Your Best”.
“Do Your Best” does not mean that you have to achieve good grades, be a champion, or beat others. “Do Your Best” is to provide the best for everything we are doing on. Giving or doing the best is a process that uses all capabilities you’ve got. This means, willing to learn from mistakes, continuing to improve, and do not stop trying when it fails.
Every student has their potential, talents and different abilities. Obviously, any results achieved will be different too. That is, each student should always continue to improve him/herself, in order to actualize all their potentials optimally. Maybe today’s result is not perfect, but it’s still better than yesterday.
Finally, it is not the problem of having a bad or good mark, but it’s because you haven’t “Do Your Best” by using all the potential that God has granted to you. :sun: 😛
